Towards a whistleblower protection agenda
LatamLeaks is the first regional initiative to promote a whistleblower protection agenda (whistleblowing) in the region. It combines social, technological, legal and investigative components with a human rights perspective. It is currently made up of the following organizations: Fundación Ciudadanía Inteligente, Fundación Internacional Baltasar Garzón (FIBGAR) and PODER. LatamLeaks is part of the Whistleblowing International Network.
The LatamLeaks network draws its strength from various anonymous whistleblowing platforms in the region: Méxicoleaks, Guatemala Leaks, Subterráneo (Nicaragua), Perúleaks, Uruguay Leaks and Chileleaks.
